Invite engineers
Add engineers to a company workspace and control who can view organization-wide AI Coding information.
Workspace owners can invite engineers from a team workspace. Personal accounts cannot invite members, and the Free plan is limited to one person.
Send a workspace invitation
- Open Settings.
- Stay on the General tab.
- Find Members.
- Enter the engineer's email address and select Invite.
SuperPenguin emails the engineer an invitation or sign-in link. Their membership remains pending until they use that link and finish signing in.
After joining, the engineer has two separate scopes:
- Their private personal account.
- The shared company workspace.
They can switch between the two from the dashboard sidebar.
Track onboarding progress
The Onboard your team step on AI Coding and PR Costs shows three counts:
- Invited: non-owner engineers added to the workspace, including pending invitations.
- Accepted: invited engineers with an active workspace membership.
- App connected: accepted engineers with an active SuperPenguin Desktop installation.
Workspace owners can use that step to email the app to every accepted engineer who has not connected it. Invite new members from Settings → General → Members and manage the complete installation roster from Settings → AI Coding → Desktop reporting.
Member limits
Growth, Pro, and Enterprise workspaces can invite members up to the workspace's current member limit. If the limit is reached, the owner must upgrade the plan or change the Enterprise contract before adding another engineer.

Choose AI Coding visibility
An ordinary member sees their own AI Coding and Desktop information by default. Owners see organization-wide information.
From the Members table:
- An owner can grant Viewer access or appoint a Policy administrator.
- A Policy administrator can grant or remove Viewer access.
A Viewer can see organization-wide AI Coding information. A Policy administrator can also manage AI Coding policy and viewer access. Only an owner can appoint or remove a Policy administrator. These grants apply to AI Coding information; they do not create another workspace role.
